He broke onto the global DeFi scene as he led the Reflect Finance project in 2020. This innovative project was the first to introduce the concept of reflections to the DeFi space - a novel means of instantaneous, gas-free yield delivery.  After open-sourcing the code, the concept has been widely adopted by a plethora of projects & tokens worth north of $50B in cumulative value.  Known by some as the “Godfather of Reflections”, his influence was apparent in projects like Safemoon, Kiba Inu, FEG & thousands of others.

With an investor-centric mindset, Chapo has always been looking for ways to protect people from unnecessary losses from rugs & fraud. For years he has warned investors about particular projects with red flags, exposed frauds to limit losses & collaborated with others in the space who have shared a common mission to reduce scams.
